Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Island tours, full island builds from start to finish, decorating episodes of one island (Episode 30, 31…), villager hunts, themed builds for a season or a holiday, island planning videos, 30-day challenges, other cozy games (Pokopia, Heartopia, Dressmaker)
Editing style
What I would do for Animal Crossing: a calm pace with the island given room to breathe, area names on soft title cards, terraforming as a timelapse with a before and after, design codes readable on screen, a ticket counter in villager hunts and the dreamie reveal held. Close to Robuilds’ Bloxburg build-offs and ashlele’s Heartopia build
Video length
Animal Crossing videos run 10 to 55 minutes: Tiger’s 12 latest 9 to 35, Lex Play’s 10 to 36 and tay.crossings’ 25 to 53 (median about 40), measured on Oct 18, 2026, while full island builds in one video run 1 to 4 hours. Tours land in the $150 or $300 package; full builds get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and Animal Crossing, plainly

What big Animal Crossing channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos on three channels: Tiger, Lex Play and tay.crossings. Animal Crossing YouTube is still built on islands, years after New Horizons came out.

Search the same day also showed full island builds from start to finish in one video of 1 to 4 hours, and the same creators moving to other cozy games such as Pokopia and Dressmaker.

How I would edit your Animal Crossing videos

No Animal Crossing creator has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. It comes from cozy build videos in my portfolio (Robuilds’ Bloxburg build-offs, ashlele’s Heartopia build) and the rare-item hunts I cut for Puff Blox, slowed down to the pace an island tour needs.

A calm pace that still moves

An island tour is not a fast Roblox edit. I would let each area breathe with slow camera moves and the island’s own sound, and cut only the walking that adds nothing, so the tour feels relaxed but never stalls. Your commentary that connects two areas stays in.

Area names on soft title cards

A tour moves through named areas: the plaza, the orchard, the neighborhood. A small title card in your channel’s style at each one, the same in every video, works like chapters inside the video and pairs with real YouTube chapters.

Terraforming as a timelapse, with before and after

For a full build, the hours of terraforming and placing items play as a timelapse with your voice over the choices, and each finished area gets a before-and-after cut, so viewers see the change instead of the menus.

Design codes you can read

Viewers pause to copy custom designs and dream addresses. I would put each code on screen long enough to pause on, in the same corner every time, and match it with your description.

Villager hunts with a ticket counter

A small counter of tickets used or islands visited, always in the same corner, builds the wait, the misses fold into a quick sequence, and the moment the dreamie appears is held with your reaction in full.

Series that look like one show

For a decorating series or a day-by-day build, the same intro, episode card and short recap at the start of each episode, defined once and reused, make the series recognisable and each episode faster to edit.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Videos I edited, chosen because their format is closest to an Animal Crossing video: ashlele’s Heartopia build, Robuilds’ Bloxburg build-offs, Rex & Alexa flipping a house and a rare plant hunt for Puff Blox. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Animal Crossing. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Animal Crossing videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Animal Crossing videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Animal Crossing footage is how you judge my Animal Crossing edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my Animal Crossing videos?

Yes. Send the raw recording of one tour or one build session, with your voice on its own track if you can, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you edit at a slow, cozy pace?

Yes. My usual work is faster, so I would match your channel: send one of your published videos as the reference and the free 1-minute test shows whether the pace feels right before you pay anything.

Can you turn a whole island build into one long video?

Yes. Send the full recording and I cut it into a timelapse story with chapters by area. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote.

Do you edit other cozy games too?

Yes, the same way: Pokopia, Heartopia, Dressmaker or Stardew-style games. ashlele’s Heartopia build is already in my portfolio.

How much does an Animal Crossing YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your Animal Crossing footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
