Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Lists and roundups (best cozy games, new cozy games to wishlist this month), first-look let’s plays of a new life sim, farming, shop and decorating games, seasonal videos, calm “fall asleep while I play” longplays
Editing style
What I would do for cozy videos: a slower pace with room to breathe, no meme sounds or shaking zooms, one title card per game with platform and release date, soft crossfades, before and after of the farm or the room, and the loudness kept low and even. Close to the Bloxburg builds I’ve edited for Robuilds and Puff Blox’s Grow a Garden progress
Video length
Cozy channels split into two lengths (Eeowna’s lists 17 to 37 minutes, Cozy K Games’ let’s plays about 33 minutes to 2 hours, MadMorph’s calm longplays about 2 to 4 hours, measured on Oct 18, 2026): lists land in the $150 or $300 package, longplays get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and cozy game, plainly

What big cozy gaming channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent videos of three cozy channels with three different lengths: Eeowna (lists, 17 to 37 minutes), Cozy K Games (let’s plays, about 33 minutes to 2 hours) and MadMorph (calm longplays, about 2 to 4 hours). The formats that keep coming back:

How I would edit your cozy game videos

No cozy game channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your video. Each point comes from real work of mine: the Bloxburg builds I’ve edited for Robuilds, Puff Blox’s Grow a Garden progress and the long Minecraft videos I edit for Puff and Swaylemc.

A slower pace on purpose

Cozy viewers come to relax. I would cut dead time and repeated menus but keep the pauses that let a moment breathe, use soft crossfades instead of hard jumps and leave out meme sounds and shaking zooms. The edit should feel calm, not slow.

One card per game in a list

In a list video viewers want the name, the platforms and the release date. I would design one card for it and use it the same way for every game and every list, with a YouTube chapter per game, so a viewer can jump to the one they want to wishlist.

Before and after of the farm, the shop or the room

Progress is the payoff in cozy games. I would show the empty field or the bare room early, compress the work into a time-lapse and end the section on the finished version, the way a Bloxburg build battle ends on the finished house.

A day counter for life sims

For farming and shop games, a small day or season counter in a fixed corner tells viewers where they are when the edit skips ahead. It is the same kind of counter I keep in every Roblox challenge series I edit.

Longplays: cut only what breaks the calm

For a two or three hour longplay to fall asleep to, I would leave almost everything in, cut only loading, menus that go nowhere and sudden loud moments, and level the whole video low and even, so nothing wakes the viewer up.

Your voice warm and clear

Cozy commentary is quiet. I would clean the background noise, keep your voice clearly above the game music without pushing it loud, and match the music level across the whole video.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Four videos from my work for Robuilds and Puff Blox, chosen because their format sits closest to a cozy video: a seasonal house build, turning a small space into a home, and steady progress in a farming game. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is cozy game. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited cozy game videos before?

No, I haven’t edited cozy game videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own cozy game footage is how you judge my cozy game edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my cozy game videos?

Yes. Send a recorded session (or one game for a list) and your voice on a separate track if you have it, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos from 10 minutes to several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you edit a calm longplay without making it feel rushed?

Yes. For a longplay I would cut very little: loading, dead menus and anything loud or jarring, then level the audio low and even. The goal is a video that feels like one calm session.

Will you keep my soft style instead of adding meme edits?

Yes. I match the style of your channel. For cozy videos that means gentle transitions, no meme sounds and no fast zooms unless you ask for them.

Can you edit list videos with trailer and gameplay clips?

Yes, from footage you recorded or have permission to use. I would keep one card per game with the name, platforms and release date, and add chapters so viewers can jump between games.

How much does a cozy game YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your cozy game footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
