Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
100-day and multi-year runs (often in parts plus a full movie), perfection and every-achievement challenges, one-crop or one-rule runs, rankings of every fish or crop, multiplayer farms and competitions, modded worlds (Stardew Valley Expanded, witchy and cozy mod packs), cozy longplays
Editing style
What I would do for Stardew Valley: a calm cut that still moves, a season and day counter, a gold or perfection tracker that fills up, and time-lapses of the farm changing. Close to the progression videos I cut for Puff Blox in Grow a Garden
Video length
Stardew videos on big channels run long: Poxial’s recent ones 42 minutes to 5 hours 24 (parts plus a full movie), Salmence’s Stardew videos 17 to 58 minutes, measured on Oct 18, 2026. Rankings and mod showcases land in the $150 or $300 package; long runs get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.

That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)

My experience and Stardew Valley, plainly

What big Stardew Valley channels upload in 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the most recent long videos of Poxial and Salmence, plus a YouTube search for Stardew challenges. Poxial’s uploads run from 42 minutes to 5 hours 24, Salmence’s Stardew videos from 17 to 58 minutes. The formats that keep coming back:

The same channels move between Stardew and other cozy games (Fields of Mistria, Moonlight Peaks), so one editing style has to work across them.

How I would edit your Stardew Valley videos

No Stardew Valley client has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your video. Each point comes from work I already do: Puff Blox’s Grow a Garden progression, Robuilds’ build battles and the long runs I edit every week.

Calm, not slow

A Stardew audience wants to relax, not to be shouted at. I would keep the music and the small moments (a gift, a festival, a funny line from a villager) and cut everything that repeats: walking to the mines, sleeping, menus. The cut moves, but it never feels rushed.

Seasons and days on screen

I would add a small, fixed card with the season, the day and the year, in the same place and style in every part, so viewers always know where they are in a 100-day or a two-year run. It also hides the jumps in time.

A tracker that fills up

Whether the goal is gold, perfection or every achievement, I would keep one tracker on screen and update it at every step, the way the money goes up in the noob to trillionaire Grow a Garden run I cut for Puff Blox.

The farm as a time-lapse

The best payoff in a Stardew run is seeing the farm change. I would build short time-lapses at the end of each season and before and after shots of the big builds, like the reveals in the Bloxburg build battles I cut for Robuilds.

Rankings with one template

For “every fish ranked” or “every crop ranked”, I would design one card (item, season, price, rank) and reuse it for every item, with a tier list that fills up as the video goes on.

Parts that also work as a movie

If you upload a run in 100-day parts and later as one movie, I would cut each part with a short recap and a clean ending, and then join them for the movie with the recaps removed and YouTube chapters at every season.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Five long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a Stardew Valley video: Puff Blox’s Grow a Garden progression, Robuilds’ build battles, a ranking from worst to best and a 100-day run. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Stardew Valley. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Stardew Valley videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Stardew Valley videos for a client yet. The closest work I’ve done is Grow a Garden progression videos for Puff Blox, Bloxburg build battles for Robuilds and long-form gaming for Mud, Puff and Rex & Alexa. All of it is on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.

Can you edit my Stardew Valley videos?

Yes. Send a few minutes of raw footage from one in-game day or one season, plus a note on your goal, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours.

Can you keep a cozy, relaxing pace?

Yes, and I would ask you for two or three videos you like so I can match them. Cozy does not mean long pauses: I would cut repeats and menus but keep the music, the small reactions and the time for a nice shot to breathe.

Can you cut one long run into parts and a full movie?

Yes. I would edit each part to stand on its own with a short recap, then join them into the movie with the recaps removed and chapters at each season. Parts usually land in the $300 package and a movie of several hours gets a custom quote.

Do you edit other cozy games too?

Yes. The same style works for Fields of Mistria, Animal Crossing or any farming game you play next: season cards, a progress tracker and calm music.

How much does a Stardew Valley YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your Stardew Valley footage
