Minecraft build battle YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is Bloxburg build battles for Robuilds; I haven’t edited Minecraft build battle videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.

9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Build battles on public servers, cheating in build battle with mods or WorldEdit commands, theme twists (build anything but the theme, one theme only), duo battles, pro builder against beginners, build-offs between friends, judging and voting rounds
- Editing style
- What I would do for a build battle: the theme on a title card each round, the time limit on screen, the build sped up with the jokes kept, the cheat or the twist at real speed, a slow reveal of every build at the vote and the result held for the reaction. Close to the build battles I cut in Bloxburg for Robuilds
- Video length
- Build battles on big channels run about 9 to 17 minutes on Bevid Builds, 19 to 25 on Mongo and 31 to 45 on Skiddzie (measured on Oct 18, 2026), so they land in the $150 or $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Minecraft build battle for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “BEACH BEDROOM BUILD BATTLE in Bloxburg!” on Robuilds (261K subscribers), 10.1K views; “Hello Kitty VS Kuromi CAFE BUILD BATTLE ft. @DaPandaGirl” on Robuilds (261K subscribers), 6.8K views
My experience and Minecraft build battle, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Minecraft build battle servers themselves: the voting screens, WorldEdit commands on screen and knowing which build trick a builder will recognise. My build battle work so far is Bloxburg in Roblox; my Minecraft work is horror mods, survival with friends and full movies.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Minecraft build battle footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Build battles already edited: four Bloxburg build battles and build-offs for Robuilds, with a theme, a clock and a reveal at the end.
- Group comedy kept intact: Rex & Alexa’s Roblox episodes and Puff’s Minecraft videos with friends, where the joke between players matters as much as the game.
What big build battle channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 latest videos of Bevid Builds, Mongo and Skiddzie. Bevid’s build battles run from 9 to 17 minutes, Mongo’s from 19 to 25 and Skiddzie’s from 31 to 45. The formats that repeat:
- Cheating with a theme or a tool: “I Cheated With EVERY DINOSAUR In Minecraft Build Battle!”, “I Cheated with //WATERPARK in a Build Battle!”.
- Twists on the rules: “Can You Win Build Battle By Building Anything BUT The Theme?”, building only one franchise.
- Duels with a story: “I hired a building coach, then I beat him in a build battle…”.
- Rounds on a public server, where the vote of strangers decides the winner.
Every video has the same skeleton (theme, clock, build, vote, result), so the edit is what makes one channel’s build battles feel different from another’s.
How I would edit your Minecraft build battle videos
No Minecraft build battle channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from work I already do: the Bloxburg build battles I cut for Robuilds, Rex & Alexa’s Roblox episodes and Puff’s Minecraft videos.
The theme reveal is a moment
The theme decides the round. I would give it a title card with its own sound, the same every round, and keep your first reaction to it, because the face you make at “Dinosaurs” is the start of the joke. It is the kind of recurring element I set once and reuse.
The clock on screen, and time jumps you can feel
A build battle is a race against a timer. I would keep the remaining time on screen in the same corner, and when I speed up the build, show the clock running faster too, so the viewer feels the pressure of the last 30 seconds.
The cheat at real speed
When the WorldEdit paste or the mod item drops a whole build into the plot, that is the laugh. I would slow the build down just before, play the cheat at real speed with a strong sound, and hold the reaction of the other players, without cutting the laugh short to save a second.
Every build gets its reveal
The vote is where viewers judge with you. I would give each build a short slow pan from the best angle with the theme as a caption, keep the vote reactions, and save your build or the funniest one for last.
Split screen when two builds race
In a duel or a pro against beginners video, I would cut back and forth between the two plots and show them side by side at the key moments, the way the Boys vs Girls build-off I cut for Robuilds keeps both teams in view.
End on the result
Once the winner is announced, the video is over. I would hold the result and the reaction, add one closing line and end, instead of a long outro that loses the viewer you just entertained.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Four build battles and build-offs I cut for Robuilds in Bloxburg (Roblox). They are not Minecraft, but the format is the same: a theme, a clock, two builds and a reveal. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is Minecraft build battle. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited Minecraft build battle videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Minecraft build battle videos for a client yet. I edited four build battles and build-offs for Robuilds in Bloxburg (Roblox), and I edit long-form Minecraft for Puff, all on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on one of your rounds shows you how I would cut your build battles before you pay anything.
Can you edit my Minecraft build battle videos?
Yes. Send the raw recording of one build battle (your screen and, if you can, the other players’ views) and a video whose style you like, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying.
Can you make WorldEdit or mod cheats look funny and readable?
Yes. I would slow down just before the cheat, show the command or the item for a second so viewers understand it, play the result at real speed with a strong sound and keep everyone’s reaction.
Can you edit a series of build battles with the same look every time?
Yes. I would set the theme card, the timer, the vote graphics and the sounds once and reuse them every video, so your build battles are recognisable at a glance.
How long does a build battle edit take?
The first video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days per video. Most build battles run 10 to 35 minutes, which is the $150 or $300 package.
How much does a Minecraft build battle YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
