Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Step-by-step build tutorials (houses, bases, treehouses), build timelapses with commentary, relaxing long builds with no commentary or a calm voice, survival build projects (trading halls, mega villages, farms), building tips and technique videos, before and after makeovers
Editing style
What I would do for a building video: the finished build teased in the first seconds, every tutorial step readable from one steady angle, the timelapse slowed down for the details, a calm mix for relaxing builds and a slow reveal at the end. Close to the house builds I cut in Bloxburg for Robuilds
Video length
Build tutorials run about 8 to 22 minutes on Lomby’s channel (measured on Oct 18, 2026), the $55 or $150 package; survival build projects run 20 minutes to an hour, and relaxing builds from about 1 hour 26 to almost 3 hours on flowstate’s channel, which get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours

Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and Minecraft building, plainly

Why me

What big Minecraft building channels upload in 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 latest videos of three channels that show three kinds of building video: Lomby (tutorials), flowstate (long, calm builds) and itzoutlaw (build projects in hardcore survival).

Each kind wants a different edit: a tutorial has to be followed, a calm build has to be listened to, and a project has to feel like progress.

How I would edit your Minecraft building videos

No Minecraft builder has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from work I already do: Robuilds’ Bloxburg house builds, Puff’s long Minecraft videos and Swaylemc’s full movies.

The finished build in the first seconds

People click a building video to see the result. I would open on a slow shot of the finished build, then go back to the empty plot, so the viewer knows what they are waiting for. It is the rule I follow on every video: what the thumbnail promises shows up in the first 30 seconds.

Tutorial steps you can actually follow

A tutorial fails if the viewer loses the block. I would keep the camera on the same angle during a step, slow down when a block placement is tricky, add a small label with the block name the first time it appears and a short pause at the end of each layer, so a viewer can pause and copy.

Timelapse with a rhythm

A raw timelapse is the same speed for an hour. I would speed through the walls and the filling, drop back to real speed for the details (a roof curve, a window frame), and keep the comments where you explain a choice, the way the Robuilds builds slow down for the moment a room comes together.

Relaxing builds: nothing that wakes the viewer

For a calm build there are no memes, no zooms and no loud sounds. I would keep soft music under the block sounds, level the loudness so nothing jumps, cut only the dead minutes (menus, fetching items) and leave the quiet. It is the opposite of a challenge edit, and it has to be done on purpose.

A project shows progress

For a survival build project I would add a progress counter (villagers traded, farms built, blocks placed) in the same corner every episode and a quick before and after at each milestone, so an hour of work feels like steps forward.

The reveal at the end

The last minute is the payoff. I would end on a slow tour of the finished build, inside and out, at the best time of day you recorded, with the music rising, and stop soon after: the build is the ending.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Four building videos I edited in Roblox, where the build is the point of the video, chosen because their format sits closest to a Minecraft building video: three Bloxburg builds for Robuilds and a building episode for Rex & Alexa. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Minecraft building. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Minecraft building videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Minecraft building videos for a client yet. I edited Bloxburg house builds and build-offs for Robuilds in Roblox, and I edit long-form Minecraft for Puff, all on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on one of your builds shows you how I would cut your tutorials or timelapses before you pay anything.

Can you edit my Minecraft building videos?

Yes. Send the raw recording of one build (with your voice if the video has commentary) and a video whose style you like, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form, from 8-minute tutorials to builds of several hours.

Can you edit a relaxing build with no commentary?

Yes. I would cut the dead time, keep the block sounds and soft music, level the loudness so nothing jumps, and avoid every effect that would wake the viewer. Builds over 35 minutes get a custom quote.

Can you edit a tutorial so people can copy it block by block?

Yes, that is the goal: one steady angle per step, slower moments for tricky placements, the block name the first time it appears and a pause at the end of each layer. Send your recording and I will show it on one minute for free.

Can you also cut Shorts from my builds?

Yes. A finished build is a strong Short: a 20 to 40-second timelapse from empty plot to reveal. I cut them from the long video if you want them.

How much does a Minecraft building YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your Minecraft building footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
