Minecraft civilization experiment YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies, up to almost four hours; I haven’t edited Minecraft civilization experiment videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Crowds of players simulating a civilization, themed civilizations (samurai, magic, fantasy, rich and poor), wars between factions, exposing a corrupt civilization, one pro against a whole civilization, AI civilizations
- Editing style
- What I would do for civilization videos: a narrator who carries the story through the crowd, a few players followed as characters, a map that redraws borders as factions grow and fall, and chapters for each era. Close to the way I cut Swaylemc’s long Minecraft movies
- Video length
- Civilization experiments on big channels run about one to two and a half hours (Protagnst’s recent uploads 1 hour 7 to 2 hours 24, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so almost all get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Minecraft civilization experiment for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “It Heard My Voice... (FULL MOVIE)” on Swaylemc (205K subscribers), 1.16M views; “I Reclamated a Deserted Wasteland in Minecraft” on Puff (1.83M subscribers), 18.6K views
My experience and Minecraft civilization experiment, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Event videos with hundreds of players, where the footage comes from many recorders and the story is found in the edit. My long Minecraft work so far has a small cast.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Minecraft civilization experiment footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Long Minecraft stories are a regular part of my work: Swaylemc’s full movies and Puff’s survival videos with groups of friends.
What big civilization experiment channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from YouTube search and the 12 most recent videos of Protagnst, MARCUSK and ish. Protagnst’s run from 1 hour 7 to 2 hours 24, MARCUSK’s from 27 minutes to 2 hours 31 (the long ones are the recent ones), and ish’s biggest civilization video is 2 hours 34. The formats that repeat:
- A crowd with a theme: “100 Players Simulate Samurai Minecraft” (Protagnst, a month ago), magic and fantasy versions, rich against poor.
- Bigger and bigger crowds, a thousand players or more, as in MARCUSK’s and ish’s simulations.
- One creator against a civilization, or exposing a corrupt one, as in Parrot’s “I Exposed a Corrupt Minecraft Civilization”.
- Wars and collapse: factions forming, trading, then fighting.
The video is one creator’s story told through a crowd, often with footage from many recorders.
How I would edit your Minecraft civilization experiment videos
No civilization experiment client has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from work I already do: Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies and Puff’s group survival videos.
One narrator through the crowd
A crowd has no story until someone tells it. I would build the edit on your narration and pick three or four players to follow as characters, with name cards the first time they appear, so viewers care who wins.
A map that redraws itself
Civilizations are about territory. I would keep one map style for the whole video and redraw it whenever a faction grows, splits or falls, so a two-hour story can be read at a glance.
Eras instead of days
Founding, trade, the first betrayal, the war, the end: I would mark each era with the same title card and a short line on what is at stake, which also becomes the YouTube chapters.
Footage from many recorders, sorted by the story
Events like these come with dozens of clips. I would sort them by moment, line up the ones that overlap by their audio, and keep only the angle that tells each beat best.
The city grows on screen
Builds are compressed into time-lapses from a fixed angle, so the same spot goes from a camp to a city in seconds, and the before and after can be compared later.
Wars cut like battles
A war gets a short build-up, then fights cut on the hit from both sides, with faction colours on the name tags so viewers never lose track of who is attacking.
Two hours that hold
For a video this long I would open on the climax for a few seconds, keep the loudness level from the first village to the last battle and end soon after the outcome.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Five long-form videos from my work for Swaylemc, Puff and Element X, chosen because their format sits closest to a civilization experiment: long Minecraft stories, groups of players and a world that changes. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is Minecraft civilization experiment. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited Minecraft civilization experiment videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Minecraft civilization experiment videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Minecraft civilization experiment footage is how you judge my Minecraft civilization experiment edit before paying anything.
Can you edit my Minecraft civilization experiment videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw footage of one event, with your narration or story notes and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Can you work with footage from dozens of recorders?
Yes. Send the clips with a rough note of what happened when, and I sort them by moment and line up the overlapping ones by their audio. The more recorders, the more the quote depends on the hours of footage.
Can you cut a civilization event to a set length?
Yes. Tell me the target, an hour or two hours, and I build the story to fit, keeping the factions you want to follow and cutting the rest.
Is this the same as your SMP page?
Close, but not the same. My SMP page is about a fixed group on a long-running server; civilization experiments are one-off events with a crowd, a theme and an ending.
How much does a Minecraft civilization experiment YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
