Video types
Let’s play episodes in a long series, forever world and building projects, hardcore seasons in episodes, vanilla progression series, relaxing longplays to fall asleep to, slow survival without rushing, a season or a year joined into a full movie
Editing style
What I would do for a survival let’s play: a short recap and today’s goal up front, each project as its own chapter, building sped up with a clock on screen, the talk that joins two moments kept, and a calm pace with no meme sounds. Close to the weekly rhythm of Puff’s Minecraft videos
Video length
Survival let’s plays split by style: cosy series episodes of about 11 to 35 minutes, and let’s play and hardcore episodes of 50 minutes to almost 2 hours (LDShadowLady’s recent uploads 11 to 33 minutes, Beanin’s 50 minutes to 1 hour 50, Wombaat’s 9 minutes to almost 5 hours, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $150 or $300 package and long episodes get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours

My experience and Minecraft survival let’s play, plainly

Why me

What big Minecraft survival let’s play channels upload in 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of Beanin, LDShadowLady and Wombaat, plus YouTube searches for survival let’s plays. LDShadowLady’s run from 11 to 33 minutes, Beanin’s from 50 minutes to 1 hour 50, and Wombaat’s from 9 minutes to almost 5 hours. What keeps coming back:

How I would edit your Minecraft survival let’s play

No let’s play channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your series. Each point comes from work I already do: Puff’s weekly Minecraft survival videos and Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies.

Last time, then today’s goal

A let’s play is watched in order, but many viewers arrive in the middle. I would open with a short recap of where the world stands and say today’s goal in one line, then start. Before each project, one line reminds viewers what it is for, and the episode ends soon after the goal is done.

Each project is a chapter

Episodes are built from projects: a farm, a house, a trip to the Nether. I would make each one a chapter with its own title card, so viewers can jump to the build they came for and come back for the rest.

Building sped up, never skipped

Viewers like to see a build grow. I would speed up the repeated placing with a small clock or day counter on screen, slow back down for the details and the reveal, and keep the talk that joins two moments, so it still feels like one session.

A calm pace on purpose

Survival series viewers come to relax. I would cut the dead mining and the inventory sorting, keep the ambient music and the quiet moments that set the mood, and use sound effects only where a joke lands, never on every line.

The same look every episode

A long series is recognised by its details. I would define the episode card, the counter, the base map and the end screen once and reuse them in every episode, the consistency of Puff’s Minecraft videos week after week.

Hardcore stakes on screen

In a hardcore season one mistake ends everything. I would show the hearts and the danger clearly when it matters, add a line before each risky trip, and let a close call play close to real time.

A season into a full movie

When a world reaches a milestone, I would join the best of the season into one full movie with chapters and one loudness level from start to end. Long uploads are familiar ground: Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies run up to almost four hours.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Five long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a survival let’s play episode: Puff’s Minecraft survival, from reclaiming a wasteland to hardcore, and a Swaylemc full movie. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Minecraft survival let’s play. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Minecraft survival let’s play videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Minecraft survival let’s play videos for a client yet. Can you edit my Minecraft survival let’s play videos?

Yes. Send one raw session with your voice on its own track if you have it, plus a link to your last episode so I can match your style, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies.

Can you keep the relaxed feel of my series?

Yes. I would cut the dead time and keep the calm: the music, the quiet moments and the talk between builds stay. Send your last episode and I will match its pace and keep the same look from episode to episode.

Can you edit every episode of my series?

Yes. After the first video, I deliver in 1 to 2 days, and I reuse the same cards, counter and end screen in every episode, the way I keep Puff’s Minecraft videos consistent week after week.

Can you edit hour-long episodes?

Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. I would add chapters for each project and keep one loudness level through the whole episode.

How much does a Minecraft survival let’s play YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
